Constructing Soliton Solutions of Geometric Flows by Separation of Variables
This note surveys and compares results in [12] and [21, 22] on the separation of variables construction for soliton solutions of curvature equations including the Kähler-Ricci flow and the Lagrangian mean curvature flow. In the last section, we propose some new generalizations in the Lagrangian mean curvature flow case.
متن کاملSome traveling wave solutions of soliton family
Solitons are ubiquitous and exist in almost every area from sky to bottom. For solitons to appear, the relevant equation of motion must be nonlinear. In the present study, we deal with the Korteweg-deVries (KdV), Modied Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) and Regularised LongWave (RLW) equations using Homotopy Perturbation method (HPM). The algorithm makes use of the HPM to determine the initial expansion...
متن کاملConstructing N-soliton solution for the mKdV equation through constrained flows
Based on the factorization of soliton equations into two commuting integrable xand t-constrained flows, we derive N -soliton solutions for mKdV equation via its xand t-constrained flows. It shows that soliton solution for soliton equations can be constructed directly from the constrained flows.
متن کاملIntegrable Rosochatius deformations of higher-order constrained flows and the soliton hierarchy with self-consistent sources
Abstract We propose a systematic method to generalize the integrable Rosochatius deformations for finite dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems to integrable Rosochatius deformations for infinite dimensional integrable equations. Infinite number of the integrable Rosochatius deformed higher-order constrained flows of some soliton hierarchies, which includes the generalized integrable Hénon-...
متن کاملA pr 2 00 1 BINARY CONSTRAINED FLOWS AND SEPARATION OF VARIABLES FOR SOLITON EQUATIONS
In contrast to mono-constrained flows with N degrees of freedom, binary constrained flows of soliton equations, admitting 2 × 2 Lax matrices, have 2N degrees of freedom. By means of the existing method, Lax matrices only yield the first N pairs of canonical separated variables. An approach for constructing the second N pairs of canonical separated variables with additional N separated equations...
